The annual Glenmore Indian Summer took place Oct 1-5, 2014.  It featured 24 open teams and 6 women’s teams.

Semi-Annual General Meeting

Glenmore will have its spring AGM on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 at 7:30pm.

All members are encouraged to attend. Elections will be held for club officers.

Kurling for Kids Final Total – $301,373.60 RAISED!

The cheque reveal took place at the Montreal West Curling Club on Sunday April 13, 2014, and the final total for Kurling for Kids 2014 was an amazing $301,373.60!!!  This shattered the event goal of $260,000, and was nearly $50,000 more than the 2013 event when $252,000 was raised.

Glenmore raised a club record of $35,100!!!

Kurling for Kids raises $277,000! Glenmore raises $35,000!

The annual Kurling for Kids charity event raises money for Montreal Children’s and Ste Justine.  11 curling clubs and over 600 curlers take part.

It was another record breaking year for Kurling for Kids, with over $277,000 raised to date.  Glenmore set it’s own club record raising $35,000.

Team Tom Wharry with Amelie Blais, Mike Kennedy, and Marie-Josee Fortier win the mixed provincial title held March 19-23 in St Felicien.  After finish the round robin with a 3-2 record, they went on a winning roll, winning the tiebreaker to finish A2, then won the A2-B2 game against Team Ian South, also from Glenmore.  They went on to win the semi final over Team Hebert, and won the finals over Team Ferland.

Congrats team!  Way to go!!!
